Card Cleaning

Card cleaning is one of the first skills collectors look into when preparing cards for grading or improving the presentation of a binder collection. The aim is not to force a result or chase perfection. The aim is to remove avoidable surface issues such as fingerprints, dust and light contamination using the right tools and the right level of care.

This collection includes card cleaning products we personally trust at EliteFour, including Kurt's Card Care kits, sprays and accessories. These products are suitable for collectors working with Pokémon, One Piece, sports cards and other trading cards.

If you are new to cleaning cards, start slowly. Inspect the card first, work under good lighting and never assume every mark can be removed. Some issues, such as print lines, dents or factory defects, cannot be safely fixed with cleaning products.

Used properly, card cleaning can become a calm, satisfying part of the collecting process and a useful step before grading, storage or display.
